BYU football may be chasing a College Football Playoff spot, but the Cougars will have a national champion no matter what this fall. Well, two actually. The men’s and women’s cross country teams both won the national championship in Wisconsin on Saturday.

BYU became the first school in more than two decades to capture both the men's and women's cross country NCAA team titles.

BYU became just the fifth school ever to win national titles in both men’s and women’s cross-country. The #1 ranked women’s team won its sixth in program history, with a team score of 147 at the Zimmer Championship Course Saturday morning.
