The city of Wichita Falls announced the timeline on Monday. Midwest Wrecking Company of Texas will begin demolition on the long-abandoned structureworking from the inside out, according to the news release. It will not be imploded. The city anticipates the project will be completed by the end of February.

The National Weather Service predicts overnight low temperatures in the 20s for the next seven days. Daytime highs are predicted to rise into the upper 30s and lower 40s.
