A 34-year-old man is accused of using a knife to slash a 17-year-old’s face in Volusia County during an altercation, according to the sheriff’s office.

One Florida sheriff said he’s had enough of dealing with school threats and he is now vowing to arrest and publicly perp-walk kids and their parents to show that he means business.

Two more students in Volusia County are facing charges after they were accused of threatening to shoot up a school.

Two teens were arrested after making a school shooting threat via Snapchat, according to the Volusia Sheriff's Office. Deputies said the teens were identified as 16-year-old and 17-year-old students from Taylor High in Pierson. According to the Volusia Sheriff's Office the teens made the threat as a "joke." No injuries resulted from this threat.
