VfB Stuttgart are continuing efforts to clarify why several of their fans had problems while travelling to Serbia for the Champions League match against Red Star Belgrade on Wednesday. Stuttgart said they are still gathering more detailed information after 10 buses carrying some 500 Stuttgart fans were forced to turn around at the Serbian border and return to Germany.

Details remain sketchy at this time, but it has been confirmed by the club itself that about 10 buses transporting supporters of VfB Stuttgart to this evening's Champions' League duel in Belgrade

It was after half-time that the game was beyond the reach of Stuttgart as substitutes Mirko Ivanic and Nemanja Radonjic scored Red Star's third and fourth goals within minutes of each other. Radonjic added a second to his tally for the night in the 88th minute to inflict further pain on their German opposition.
