The 2025 4 Nations Face-Off is officially here! In lieu of the NHL All-Star Game, the league has pulled the top players from four countries for a week-long tournament to determine the best of the best. As had been anticipated, the Star-Spangled Banner was booed before Team USA’s game against Finland at the NHL 4 Nations Face-Off at the Bell Centre in Montreal. It’s just the latest demonstration during the song following similar reactions at NHL games in Canadian cities.

Tkachuk and his brother Brady put on a dominant performance in their tournament opener against Team Finland, a game the Americans cruised to a 6-1 victory. Team USA and the Finns played a tight game through 40 minutes, but three early goals during the final frame blew the game open for the U.S.
