State police arrested a Worcester man following an apparent road rage incident that turned dangerous when he fired a pellet gun at a car.

Kewon Rondell Banks, 32, of Manchester pointed a gun at another driver during a road rage incident on Interstate 84 in West Hartford Thursday, police say.

State police said he admitted to showing a firearm but said he only did so because he thought the other driver was reaching for something.

According to a report from the Tulsa Police, the victim reported being followed by a dark SUV after leaving a fast-food restaurant near Pine and Peoria. Upon arriving at his driveway, the SUV's driver fired multiple shots at the victim's car. Police said the victim was not injured.

A Worcester man appeared in district court Thursday afternoon on a charges that he fired a pellet gun at another motorist in a road rage incident. Daniel Ochoa, 39, of Catherine Street, was arrested in Millbury.
