The Orange County Board of Supervisors is set to discuss next week in closed session two claims filed against the county related to the Airport Fire. According to documents obtained by LAist via a public records request,

Airport Fire initially started 1:21 p.m. Sep. 9 in Orange, Riverside County. After being active for nine days, it has burned 23,519 acres. A crew of 2,052 firefighters has been working on site and, by Wednesday evening, they managed to contain 39% of the fire. The wildfire originated from equipment usage.
