Following "WWE SmackDown" going off the air, the OG Bloodline team did their group salute, but with a CM Punk twist.

Paul Heyman and CM Punk both returned on the November 22 episode of WWE SmackDown. Heading into Friday night, Roman Reigns and the OG Bloodline had come up empty in their search for a fifth man for their WarGames match against The Bloodline.

CM Punk has been making up for lost time since returning to the pro wrestling world in August 2021, and after Friday's "WWE SmackDown" the legend has found his way into Roman Reigns' Bloodline drama as the fifth man in the impending "Bloodline Civil War Games" at Survivor Series — a fitting addition as we approach the one-year anniversary of the night he returned to WWE.

Roman Reigns, Sami Zayn, Jimmy Uso, and Jey Uso stood across from Jacob Fatu, Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Bronson Reed on WWE SmackDown, with Solo wanting Roman to surrender as he was outnumbered. Solo said that together, they could run WWE for the next decade.

Paul Heyman finally made his return to WWE television while the OG Bloodline was standing across from the new Bloodline: But he did not come alone. No, he made it clear there will not be a 4-v-5 at War Games at Survivor Series later this month in Vancouver like Roman Reigns was talking earlier in the show.
