And for the first time since the category was introduced in 2020, women have achieved parity with men in hip-hop artist of the year. The nominees include four women (Megan, Cardi B, GloRilla and Nicki Minaj) and four men ( 21 Savage, Drake, Future and Kendrick Lamar ).
