TORRES released a new album, What an enormous room, in January via Merge. In August she teamed up with Fruit Bats for the collaborative EP, A Decoration, also on Merge. Baker’s last solo album was 2021’s Little Oblivions, which was followed by the accompanying B-Sides EP, both released via Matador.

Baker and TORRES are sticking around NYC to play a very intimate show at Mercury Lounge tonight (Dec. 11). It’s sold out (a link to tickets was sent to subscribers to their email lists, and they sold out immediately), but they do have some festival dates coming up, and hopefully will announce a proper tour soon too.
