Witnesses told police on Saturday that a man had blasted a shotgun through front door of a house on 10000 block of American Pharoah Lane at around 3 p.m.

The Howard County Police Department (HCPD) said officers fired shots at an armed man during a standoff in Laurel on Saturday. On Nov. 30, at about 3:10 p.m., HCPD said officers were sent to a home in the 10000 block of American Pharoah Lane for a domestic disturbance.

Howard County police found a man dead Saturday while responding to a domestic disturbance call. County police said officers were called around 3:10 p.m. to an apartment in the 10000 block of American Pharaoh Lane in Laurel for a domestic disturbance.
