Accessibility features in the game include an auto-pin feature for maps, audio navigation assistance, and a compass. When used in conjunction with the aforementioned auto-pin functionality, guidance is enhanced and “the color of the arrow can be changed to match their needs and ensure it is clearly visible while slaughtering the denizens of hell.”

This was the main takeaway from Monday’s nominations list. TGA’s voting jury is large and internationally diverse, and in the past its collective taste has tended to settle in a rather conservative place. But the industry’s lean year has led the jury to a suite of nominees that is varied, high-quality, and culturally rich.

Other categories honor much smaller projects that didn’t land nominations at The Game Awards. The nominees for Bite-Sized Game includes Buckshot Roulette and Clickolding, while Cryptmaster and Oddada are up for the show’s Innovation award. Here’s the full list of nominees.
