To date, all of Disney’s crossovers, be they Star Wars, Marvel or even The Incredibles, as of this past week, have allowed for its characters to wield guns

We’ve already seen the likes of Darth Vader, The Incredibles, and even a full-blown Marvel-themed season hit the Fortnite island. But up until now, it seemed like some of Disney’s classic characters – the likes of Mickey Mouse, Pinocchio, or even Snow White – were staying out of Fortnite’s wild, gun-slinging mayhem.

Disney may be developing an increasingly close relationship with Fortnite, but that seemingly doesn't mean we can expect every fan-favorite character to join the battle royale with a gun in tow. Disney-owned characters had already been part of Fortnite for some time,

Disney and Epic Games are still working on their big ole metaverse together, but one thing you can't expect from it is Mickey Mouse running around with a gun.

Epic Games has given fans a clearer picture of what to expect with their new partnership with Disney. Earlier this year, Disney invested $ 1.5 billion into Epic Games. This new partnership does not restrict Epic from working with rival media and IP companies, but it does mean they will be making a new “persistent universe.”

Even though Disney pumped $1.5 billion into Epic Games as part of a partnership, don't expect every Disney character to end up in Fortnite. In a new interview, a member of Epic Games clarified that different brands will be able to dictate how their IP is used.
