A Fort Worth daughter is mourning the loss of her father, 62-year-old Ricky Langs, after police say he was killed in a suspected road rage incident on East Loop 820 and Randol Mill Road in East Fort Worth.

Fort Worth police are investigation a road rage incident that involved a shooting and crash that has closed the northbound lanes of East Loop 820.

Police were searching for the suspect responsible for shooting and killing a person Monday evening in an apparent road rage incident, according to officials.

The family of 62-year-old Ricky Langs said he was on the phone with his cousin when the possible road rage shooting that took his life began.

A man who had been shot in the Morningside section of Fort Worth was dropped off late Sunday at a hospital emergency room, police said. The victim was pronounced dead at John Peter Smith Hospital. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office has not released his name or age.

Fort Worth police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in the 900 block of East Ramsey Avenue. No arrest have been made.
