The former lead writer for the Dragon Age series, David Gaider, has been giving fresh insight into a bunch of the RPG series' beloved characters, and has admitted that he "probably shouldn't have" written the one new follower he did for Dragon Age 2,

David Gaider says that Fenris is unlikely to appear in future Dragon Age games because his custom character model would be too expensive to pull off.

Dragon Age, much like Bioware 's other famous franchise of the era, is a series with beloved characters for the player to connect with. Fenris is one such character, featured in Dragon Age 2. According to David Gaider, the lead writer for that game, we're probably not going to see Fenris return for new Dragon Age titles.
