Bamako – A workers’ strike at B2Gold’s flagship mine in southwest Mali has reduced mining operations to just 25% of its capacity, two employees at the mine told Reuters on Tuesday.

BTG continues to expect 2024 annual gold production guidance for the Fekola mine to be at the lower end of the 420,000-450,000 ounces despite a labor strike.

B2Gold (TSX: BTO, NYSE-A: BTG, NSX: B2G) says that its Fekola mine complex in Mali will continue to operate at full capacity despite an ongoing strike, and there will be no impact on the annual production guidance.
