A vigil was held Thursday for the Detroit police officer killed in a hit-and-run crash on his way home from work.

The man faces multiple charges after allegedly fleeing a collision that left off-duty Detroit police officer Cameron Richardson dead.

"Not only do I find him to be a flight risk based on his past behavior, leaving the scene of the accident, I do think he is a danger to the community if he continues to drive," the judge said.
