COMPTON, Calif. – Los Angeles County homicide detectives are investigating following a double fatal shooting in Compton . Officials with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said the shooting happened in the 900 block of S. Central Avenue, at the intersection of Olympic Boulevard just after 11:05 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 2.

Two people were killed in a murder-suicide at a Compton strip mall after an intentional car crash, with the suspect shooting one victim and then himself.

Sheriff detectives are investigating the Monday night shooting deaths of a man and a woman in the 900 block of S. Central Ave.

A woman was killed and the alleged shooter then fatally shot himself after a collision in Compton, authorities said. Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department homicide detectives responded to the 900 block of South Central Avenue.
