Colman Domingo to receive Montecito Award for ‘Sing Sing’ at Santa Barbara International Film Festival
Colman Domingo is having a great 24 hours. Just one day after being named the Gotham Award winner for “Sing Sing” in the Outstanding Lead Performance category, he has been feted by the Santa Barbara International Film Festival (SBIFF) to receive the Montecito Award at their 40th annual awards gala.
'Sing Sing' heads back to theaters as Colman Domingo's Oscar push ramps up
The West Philly native is considered a lock for a best actor nomination at the Oscars and could take home the golden trophy. His main competition at the moment is Adrien Brody ("The Brutalist") and Ralph Fiennes ("Conclave"), according to Hollywood awards predictor Gold Derby.
