The Rock County Board stamped its approval on the 2025 county budget late Tuesday night.  The county tax rate will be $3.95 per $1,000 of assessed value, or $790 for the owner of a $200,000 home. This is only the county portion of property tax bills that come out in December;

Ogdensburg has an approved budget for 2025. The city council passed the spending plan Tuesday night. It totals $21.6 million. Spending goes up by 4 percent while the tax rate is going down from $16 per $1,
