The local police responsible for the roof a shooter used to fire at ex-President Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania, had never spoken to the Secret Service prior to the shooting, says a report released by the Secret Service on Friday.

Secret Service acting Director Ronald Rowe Jr. acknowledged several mistakes the agency made in the Pennsylvania Trump assassination attempt.

The Secret Service was not made aware that a local agency that was providing support to the Secret Service, according to the report.

The acting director of the Secret Service also cited “complacency” from others, as well as over-reliance on mobile devices and flaws in advance planning.
