Birmingham New Street remains the busiest railway station outside of London, new figures show. About 33.3 million passengers entered and exited the station between April 2023 and the end of March 2024, according to the Office of Rail and Road (ORR).

London Liverpool Street retains title of Britain’s busiest railway station - The estimated number of entries and exits at Liverpool Street in the year to the end of March was 94.5 million.
