Adam Copeland may be nearing a return to All Elite Wrestling, based off recent comments made by the Rated R Superstar during an appearance on the 'Leafs Morning

After six months out of action, Adam Copeland sounds like he’s ready to get back in the ring. Copeland has been away from AEW since suffering a fractured tibia at Double or Nothing this May.

During a recent appearance on “The Leafs Nation” podcast, Adam Copeland provided an update regarding the state of his leg and his potential return to AEW. Copeland sustained a leg injury after leaping from the top of a cage during AEW Double or Nothing 2024.

AEW star Adam Copeland, formerly known as Edge in WWE, has been sidelined for nearly six months. In May, he faced Malakai Black on Double or Nothing. As the AEW TNT champion, Copeland defended his title in a Barbed Wire Steel Cage match.

As for his time in AEW, the 11-time World Champion's first match with the company saw him take on Luchasaurus on the 10 October 2023 AEW Dynamite. That was part of Copeland's wider rivalry with his long-time on-off best friend Christian Cage, with the veterans feuding through until 2024 and exchanging the AEW TNT Title three times.

According to PWInsider Elite (via Wrestling Inc.), Copeland has been cleared to return to AEW. However, he will not be back on TV regularly until after Disney+'s Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 2 wraps, which is expected to be in January 2025.
