Are there any stops/points of interest along the way from Denver to Lake Powell, Bullfrog? We have dogs so we have to be careful but thought perhaps we could go see something while we are already out there. Thanks.

There is not much to do as the area is pretty void of civilization. The one stop I could recommend is Goblin valley which is a Utah state park. There are also slot canyons in the area …

There are also slot canyons in the area which I find very cool but not sure about taking dogs. There are certainly stops you can get out and roam and as you get closer to lake Powell the terrain gets more intense formation wise.... not much more I can add, hope that helps
