Consistent zealous and competent advocacy. Relentless & tenacious. Very early in my career as an attorney, while engaged in negotiating the terms of a very serious contract, my opposing counsel was apparently taken back, ostensibly aghast. He made this apparent by stating, "for someone who has only been admitted to practice law for a few days, you're pretty damn tenacious." I suppose that he was reaffirming several of the qualities that have long-since honed to a science, satisfying my clients (and at times) irking my family - my gumption, persistence, and never-ending relentlessness. That lawyer's observation set the tone for my career.
