A great park with lots to do. Nice little kiosk over by the track for some ice-creams. Great day out away from the hussle and bussle of the city centre. Full review by 931laurencep

Lots to see, but so busy. Fortunately we stayed nearby and went before the crowds woke up. The park was extremely busy all day and night. Full review by greeneyes630

Very safe area. There are a couple of excellent hotels on Monroe that are a 2 block walk to Millennium Park. I love the Hampton Inn next to the theater at the intersection with Dearborn. There are 9 rooms on each floor and it is very quiet. The blue line from O'Hare airport stops 1/2 block from the hotel. Plus the hotel offers a full breakfast every day. The Kimpton Gray is also a great place to stay on Monroe at the intersection with LaSalle.
