Stunning views with beautiful fall colours. Photos did not do it justice. Arrive early if you want to avoid the crowds as they close it temporarily when at full capacity. A 1.5-2 hr hike or 2-3 hr hi… Full review by poltor

Hello! I wlll be walking with a less-than-enthusiastic 9 year old on the Skyline Trail this summer and I'm wondering if the left part of the trail that I keep reading about (shorter I presume?) has the opportunity to see moose? Thanks, Sarah

Skyline is congested, but there are other amazing things to amuse the 9-year olf. The walk out is just spectacular. How far is far? There are so many options and it depends on how long of a drive you want to do. It's great to have some distance so you can take in the Cabot trail. A little further down in Inverness, we loved MacLeod's Inn. On the Ingonish side, you can think about the Keltic Lodge (if they have availability). We were told that the Williams Beach House in Ingonish has the best food on the island -- and great palces to stay. We could not go or stay because the owner's daughter was getting married.

Hi, I think it is telling you to bike through the car park, which is about 500m long. There is then part of the trail that is smooth fine gravel. I am not sure if you can ride that part though. It will probably have a few people on it and it didn't seem like there would be enough space. Hope that helps.
