We have ridden the train off and on over the years and absolutely love it! The fall colors are still developing so I would recommend still going on the train to see fall colors! Full review by colleenrD254DS

Our train is at 4pm. What can we do around that area before the ride?

Osceloa is a really cute town. Check out the hidden water falls right down town. Look for the wooden indian totem pole on the main street. It's located right below it.
We want to purchase this for a small group, if I purchase the Marine on St. Croix (90min) train ride (without food) and bring food, will the rail cars with tables be availbe for us to sit at and eat?....or will there only be the rail cars with seats? I know they let you walk around but there will be a group of us, including lots of kids, so it would be nice to have actual tables to eat at. (We can only plan this for a Sunday so food provided train tours are not available). Thanks!

On our two trips the car with tables was available. It was one of the cars included in the standard ticket price. We we're allowed to bring a cooler with food and beverages.
