Depending on where you are staying the easiest and cheapest way to get to Clifton is by using a MyCiti bus which runs all around Cape Town and along the coast - Clifton being on it's route. You buy a ticket, load on some cash and use that for travelling to most local places. Also the Red or Blue topless hop on hop off bus which does all the main tourist attractions including Table Mountain. You would need a car to get out to the winelands or join a tour. Ask if you need any further information. Oh and if you are staying outside of the city its worth using Uber to get you into town,
