Epson 5040UB Auto Iris Error Possible Fix? - AVS Forum
I have an Epson 5040UBE, 5 years old, I'm on my second lamp appr 5000 Hrs. total. No issues until now. When changing to cinema mode, Screen goes blank, blue, orange, orange light flash, power light off. Fan race until total shut down, but blue, orange, orange light continues to flash until I try and restart projector.

Epson 5040UB | Vertical purple lines - AVS Forum
My Epson 5040UB has developed these two purple lines. They are not always there, but much of the time. Any chance a bulb change might fix this? I've opened up the menu to see if the lines cover the menu, but the menu isn't wide enough. Any suggestions appreciated, might just have to replace it.
