Xero support thank me for my suggestion but it would not be changed as it is classed as low priority for a fix. However I am unsure how holiday pay is calculated.
Hi I have been doing this today - first you need to put them as an eligible job person and tick in a scheme and add the date of eligibility - then save then you can click opt opt and put in the reason and the date :) There are video tutorials on this that I watched
Xero are going to see a tide turn away from their package or at least miss out on potential growth because of this. Please stop worrying about the interface and get the basic bookkeeping functions right. Dear Xero Community Managers sometimes you have to step back assess the user experience and acknowledge you need to fix something that may not have the highest votes like this one. The Dashboard of bills and invoices becomes useless when you exclude one status (ie awaiting authorisation). People aren't seeing the whole picture.
