Hello All, I am continuing to play-- err work with the X16 Emulators to make sure I understand them. In the X16 startup batch file, I'm using the following commands: cd C:\Commander_X16\Emulation x16emu.exe -fsroot sdcard_root -ram 2048 -scale 2 -widescreen -rtc The last two lines of AutoBoot.X16 in the root directory are: 10 LOAD"FM.PRG 20 RUN

I think it's a reasonable approach for the CX16GS. One could imagine an alternate history where an in-between machine still using the 65C02 could have done the RAM-in-place-of-ROM banks trick to add more memory. And then if the CX16GS were the third system, it would have to keep that in place even while adding the native 16 MB with the 65C816.
