The savings was well worth it on the used one at $1,600 buy in vs. $4 grand plus for the P68. The 68 is 8 years newer and not much different although it does respond to adjustments quicker.

You could put the stove on test mode and listen to the fans. If you want to run it bring some pellets with you and fire it up and listen to the auger for any strange noise.

The specs list this stove at max 50K BTU output, whereas my sun room auxiliary heat is an electric baseboard heater 2500/3000W producing around 8.5-10K BTU.
