WEBMar 2, 2011 · I have the Koala cabinet in white> I love it as I have my Babylock Elegante, Viking Designer Diamond, Babylock Evolution, Blind Hemmer ( Also Babylock). I have them all on top. (So I can keep everything around me. The first 2 machines are large. I had a sewing room but had to make it into a bedroom for granddaughter her moved in with me.

WEBFeb 25, 2009 · Leg room was a huge difference in the past. Koala cabinets used to have the brace on the back near floor level, where the Horn was up 6" or so. Thus the shortage of leg room. I am 5'9" and my legs were just too long for the space. After I realized this (too late) I tried Horn and they had a lot more leg room.

WEBOct 6, 2002 · I have a Bernina B770 sewing machine and a Babylock Evolve serger. My Bernina is larger than my current (old!) Horn cabinet can ergonomically handle. I've lived with sewing scrunched against the left side of my old cabinet long enough: it's time to invest in the RIGHT table for my machine.

WEBPosted on: 9/18/17 10:34 AM ET. Horn is much more economical of the two. Koala is more of a premiere brand with fancier edge finishes and plentiful color choices. Horn cabinets are more inclusive with standard features. For example, drop-leaf back extensions are standard, on Koala they're not.

WEBJun 16, 2013 · My CubPlus is usually used as my cutting table and it also holds my Enlighten Serger. I love the Koala cabinets so much, I'm actually going to purchase the Treasure Chest Plus since it is a taller standing cabinet. I'll use that as my dedicated cutting table and house my 2nd embroidery machine in there.

WEBDec 30, 2013 · If you get the larger Koala units you may want to consider having room wall lengths over 12 feet- 14+ ft even better! When opened with pallets and extensions these units will take up space. Mine is now in my living/dining room and really enjoy it there. I have mixed feelings on the outback storage shelves.
