WEBMar 20, 2013 · I don't have a Daisy 880, but did pick up a smooth bore Daisy Powerline Model 35 multi pump rifle recently. I just can't get any consistently decent groups with those Crosman Hunters pointed pellets. I've got some good groups, but I get too many flyers.

They grouped among the best in our 880 and have consistently shot well in 4 out of 5 other .177 rifles we've had: 1. Crosman 2289 MSP .177 conversion (10fpe) 2. QB79 HPA (15fpe) 3. WEBJan 25, 2024 · I prefer to just use pellets most of the time, and I have the Daisy Flat Head pellets that came with this kit, which are really good. And I also have some Crosman Destroyer pellets that I bought a while ago, and I really recommend those! They just absolutely tear and rip up anything you shoot at.

WEBApr 3, 2012 · If you want to try longer shots then a domed pellet would be the best choice, something like 7.9gr Crosman Premiers or JSB Express 7.9gr, though considering the power of the Diasy 880 I'd keep shots within 20-25 yards for squirrels, assuming you find a pellet that groups half inch or less at this range.
