My g7 pavilion notebook says "Primary Battery 601" failure, so everywhere says primary one is the "Coin-like" internal battery.

WEBDec 27, 2021 · You do not tell us the full model of the laptop but on laptops with an internal battery the battery is generally located under and above the palmrest and across most of the width of the laptop. So yes a swelling battery can cause the keyboard to bulge up at the "L" key. Also kind of depends on where the case screws are located.
